About Me

My clients are central to my work and my practice was born from the desire to help people feel fulfilled, empowered and happy in their lives.

I am a highly experienced counsellor providing short and long term therapy. Whether you are in the midst of experiencing indefinable feelings of dissatisfaction or seeing to focus on a specific issue, I provide a safe and confidential setting in which thoughts and feelings can be discussed – free from judgement and prejudice.

Training, Qualifications and Experience

I gained my Diploma in Person-Centered Counselling from the Metonoia Institute in London and I have several years of counselling experience. I have worked for numerous organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors. These include women’s centres, youth services, the British National Health Service (NHS), Relate Couples Counselling Services and for drug and alcohol prevention services.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold professional liability insurance for my work.

In addition to the above I have certifications in:

  • Working with suicidal clients
  • Certificate in the study of the couple relationship
  • Mental Health Act and Medication
